Xunlei Thunder English Version
I wanna install Thunder 5.8.7.625 obtained here into my Win7 (Eng), plus the Eng pack. Upon installation of the main program, there are OPTIONS to select as follows: Well, it’s unreadable characters in my Eng system; however from TOP DOWN, there are SIX checkmarked items I can only interpret the last one (6th), something like integration with the browsers Firefox/Opera/Maxthon. May you please tell me what the options are should I uncheck some? I prefer no Autorun either.

It has now built in English language support. Cutting out the crap, the is the best Thunder that I'd ever released. Currently, it had been downloaded 600+ times and increasing time by time.

I was using the other day and I dumped it after finding out that it doesn't upload or share back. All it does it leeches from people and fails to give back. I stopped using and now I am using Deluge (set my upload limit to 30 KiloBytes/sec) HeHeHunter did a great job in translating and removing spyware. But if you're going to talk about using this in private tracker or seeding things, Xunlei is a big no go.

I actually don't have the plan to release this at all but since there's someone asking for a change, so I release it. As for 5.8.8 V2 is a portable edition of Thunder where you can use it on your pendrive. 5.8.10.675 is an installer version.
It's the same as normal Thunder, just that there's no ads for this version. Besides, you need the latest Translation Pack 3.1 to work with it. Yes.previouslly i was using streamyx DNS.works ok at 1st but speed is not satisfying thn i saw ppl at rapidshare section say change to open DNS speed up rapidshare download thn i try change.i can actually see the speed in V1 increasing and maintaining even though netload is downloading and grabbing all the speed last time it will go to 2kbps to 5kbps and sometime falls to nothing now is maintaining 30 and above.at least drop also won't drop until 10kbps below This post has been edited by MRalien: Mar 19 2009, 10:32 AM. I was using the old version v5.10 thunder but change to the MOD version thinking that it might help.but still can't.how to fix it?? Btw.i'm using the Stupid TMNET free ridger modem.I suspect is that modem cannot cope with too many connections.

Where does this upload speed go to? I'm at my hometown downloading two same files on utorrent and Xunlei.
They can see each other, utorrent can upload at LAN speed to the Xunlei, but Xunlei does nothing in return. While we are in the topic of xunlei, anyone tried the latest webXunlei? I had mine update to the latest version and the file that gets most of the bandwidth suddenly refuses to start. Xunlei - 3KB - 12KB then drops back to 0. IMO xunlei only works well with asian peers. International peers not working as it should be. Heavy seeded file. No speed wtf??

Didn't work for me, the speed crawling from 5KB/s to 8KB/s, really really slow.
Some torrents doesn't even budge, it just stays to 0KB/s while the indicator shows it is downloading with a sum of peers. However, I got maximum speed at every 30 minutes but it only last for 5 minutes before the speed massively drops to 0KB/s again.sigh. Guess I have to use the latest one from Xunlei, I got 20KB/s - 40KB/s with it. The downside of this version: It is vanilla version, comes with ads and untranslated language. I have to register here to say this.
